Bobby Chaos came to the Optimal Impact right out of left field. Best friends with T.J Clarke for years, Bobby had tried out for the band when it was formed, but had not developed his voice yet and was therefore deemed unqualified. Still wanting to be involved, he filled the role of head roadie for the band for years until he got his big break with the band after the departure of Johnny Sweet in 2002.
Born in Winnepeg,MB, and raised in Nova Scotia, Bobby was destined to be a little crazy from the get go. Never settling on any real music tastes until much later, Paul listened to everything from Iron Maiden to Cory hart. "I don't really care what kind of music it is, I just want to see some sort of talent, and effort!"
Bobby finally found his spot in music when he attended a Karaoke show with his mother for his 18th birthday and got a taste of what is was like to be on stage. This was to be a huge turning point for him. After realizing that he could actually carry a tune, and getting the rush of being in front of an audience, he started developing his voice and guitar skills." After being on stage, nothing else seems as exciting, it's up to you to decide how the audience is going to feel, you can make people happy, sad, excited or angry with just your music."
Fitting in with the band was not hard for Bobby, his firm belief in no egos has placed him as one of the best lead vocalists the band has ever had." I don't have time for egos. If you already think you are the best, you will never try to improve yourself, and then everything suffers."
Bobby's energetic stage presence and humble attitude have finally given Optimal Impact the frontman they have been looking for, and we look forward to where this ensemble will go in the future.
Bobby also works as a graphic designer and is the moderater of this website." Any complaints can be directed here."
